		<description>Thank you so much for your link and kind words.  It seems incredible that we are 12 months on from Kenya&#039;s election.  The local media are now in the rather odd position of acting as the only existing opposition to Kenya&#039;s coalition government.  Without them we would never know of the corruption and money making scams that continue seemingly unchecked. 

During the election some blame was laid at the door of the media for stirring up violence and I know that vernacular radio were broadcasting &#039;hate&#039; messages, but for the most part I believe that the source of tribal violence and ill feeling came from powerful politicians and businessmen who, for their own gain, manipulated, incited (and paid) peace loving Kenyans to stir up trouble.  Politicians ruthlessly used the &#039;tribe&#039; card to win votes as they have done before.</description>
