It'll be interesting to see if, for example, the Sun starts charging, that then leads to other tabloids making a concerted effort to win online Sun readers by aping the Sun's style to a greater extent while remaining free. They will access it from their phones, quick fixes, then peruse articles at depth online if they need more info. (often more info isn't needed) This quick fix journalism could save the industry. It has the backing of the newspaper involved, and could be 'trusted' in the same way the printed form is.
