Do you not think that it’s the bloggers who will become the flippers? I do. It’s one thing capturing footage on pocket video cameras, but it still has to be published. Not everyone’s going to submit stuff straight to the User Generated Content desks of mainstream media outlets? Bloggers will use fewer words and publish more (moving) pictures instead?

At the Lib Dem's we've already started using Flip Cams quite heavily. They allow our MPs to provide spontaneous reaction and messages, engaging in public dialogue more directly. Smaller Parties - who can't always afford to employ professional production outfits - can use Flip Cams as a powerful campaigning tool when combined with other digital media channels.
